..what is it if you post the lyrics to an explicitly anti-Christian band on your blog and link to their wikipedia entry?

Just curious.

Informative.

Hypocritical…unfortunately…

I mean, it’s a Christian blog…

In a building Christians use, well, that’s just a building. Some think this building represents the Church and should be the ‘example’ to the world. Well then, what does that say about a Christian Discernment blog? How much more of an ‘example’ should it be?

I’m speaking from the ODM perspective here. I don’t personally think it’s wrong to rent a building to a band for a concert, nor do I think it’s wrong to have un-christian lyrics on your website as an example to others of something ‘not good’. However, since the ODM standard was against having non-christians preform at your building, you have to wonder how it’s justified continually posting lyrics and videos of the Christ-hating sort.

It makes me wonder, at least.

Can anyone tell me why it is so important that a ODM will ahve to post a post on how the world is? I mean, I can go outside and walk down my street and see anti Christian things… I guess I don’t get the hype… If is was so sheltered… I guess it would shock me. But, since the bible is pretty clear that those who do not believe are of a “depraved mind”, I wonder what is to be expected of the unregenerate?

It just seems waste of a good blog space.

But then what is new over there?

LOL!

Oh Ig…don’t be such a stinker. If you insult them, or anything we say is perceived as an insult, it’s just ammo and fuel for the fires.

=)

It was not an insult… It was purely a perception of them… I mean they want to be taken seriously… yet they think posting video’s on anti Christian music and thinly veil it as something Tim is having at his church…

Really I was being kind as they are being dishonest and slanderous….

But again, what is new!

LOL!

Iggy: You make a valid observation. Pagans act according to what they are–pagans. Although it shouldn’t surprise us, it’s still disappointing/frustrating to watch sometimes.

Can I post here Joe? I mean, I promised to put this topic to rest, but it has been reinvented. Am I allowed?

Tim – if a church should not rent out it’s building, is it also wrong for WVCY television to rent out it’s off-air time to infomercial hucksters?

Channel surfing this morning and on WVCY is a guy telling me that becoming part of “ground level” of ITV Ventures will give me the opportunity to work from home earning more money than I’ve ever imagined for that bigger house, new car, fancy vacation, or to just put a smile on my face.

All in the last 45 seconds of the infomercial.

I think I read somewhere that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.
